Saturday Group Handbuilding Workshop - February 2024

A pottery class to experiment and create with the material clay in a small group of 4 participants.
After a brief introduction to pottery, the 3 basic hand techniques are taught, while you are invited to be guided by the materiality of the clay.
Plates, cups, bowls, candleholders, vases or completely free forms can be created.

The ceramics will need to dry for 7-10 days and will then be fired for the first time to prepare them for glazing.

In the 2nd session you can refine and glaze your ceramics, so it's all about the color design of your pieces.

To hold your finished ceramics in your hands, it will need to be fired one more time (glaze fire- more than 1200 celsius). 

After the glaze firing the ceramics are ready for their new homes. You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)

The Workshop fee includes all materials and bisque + glaze firing and takes place in my studio at Danzig am Platz:
