Monthly handbuilding classes, group and individual potters wheel workshops take place in my studio at Danzig am Platz to create sculptural objects and vessels for the use of the everyday life.
Also private classes for a group of friends, birthdays or team evenings with your colleagues are available (4-8 person)

Clay & Wine - Handbuilding
Choose a glaze of two (transparent/ a selected color) and pick up your finished ceramics 2 weeks later, glazing and fire process will be covered for you.
You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)
The Workshop fee includes all materials and bisque + glaze firing and takes place in a small group of 6 people in my studio at Danzig am Platz:

Taster Session - Potters Wheel
Clay & Wine - Potters Wheel is an evening class, which invites you to end your working day comfortably and get creative. While open up a bottle of natural wine we create and play with the material clay to create objects or vessels for the use of everyday life. Plates, cups, bowls, candleholders, small vases or completely free forms can be formed by throwing on the potters wheel.
Choose 2 pieces and pick up your finished ceramics 3 weeks later. The finishing, glazing in a transparent glossy glaze and the fire process will be covered for you.
You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)

Group Handbuilding Workshops:
After a brief introduction to pottery, the 3 basic handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling and slab building are taught, while you are invited to be guided by the materiality of the clay.
Plates, cups, bowls, candleholders, small vases or completely free forms can be created.
The ceramics will need to dry for 7-10 days and will then be fired for the first time to prepare them for glazing.
In the 2nd session you can refine and glaze your ceramics, so it's all about the color design of your pieces.
To hold your finished ceramics in your hands, it will need to be fired one more time.
After that you can take it to its new home!

Potter´s Wheel Class:
-for beginners & advanced-
A 3-part pottery workshop in a small group of 3-4 people to try out and learn how to work on the potters wheel or optionally- depending your pottery knowledge- deepen the throwing technique on the potters wheel.
In the first session we start with a short introduction to the material clay and continue with the preparation. After a demonstration of throwing on the potter's wheel, participants are invited to model the clay on the wheel. The basic techniques, tips and tricks are taught.
On the following day, the 2nd session, we continue with refining the shape of the ceramics we created the day before. Therefore we use trimming tools, attach handles and can set a individual markers mark.
After 7-10 days of drying, the ceramic pieces get their first firing, the bisque firing, to prepare them for the upcoming glaze.
During the 3rd session we glaze all crafted pieces, and focus on the color design of each ceramic. This is followed by a glaze firing at 1240°C.
After the glaze firing the ceramics are ready for their new homes. You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)
