Private Class for two- Potters wheel

A 3-part pottery workshop for two people to try out and learn how to work on the potters wheel or optionally- depending your pottery knowledge- deepen the throwing technique on the potters wheel.

At the first session we start with a small introduction to the material clay and go on with the preparation. After a demonstration on how to throw on the potters wheel the participants are invited to model the clay on the wheel. The basic techniques, tips and tricks will be taught.

On the following day, the 2nd session, we go on with the trimming of the ceramics we made the day before.
After 7-10 days of drying, the ceramic pieces get their first firing, the bisque firing, to prepare them for the upcoming glaze.

During the 3rd session we glaze all crafted pieces, it is about the color design of each ceramic. This is followed by a glaze firing (more than 1200 celsius)

After the glaze firing the ceramics are ready for their new homes. You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)
