Mix & Clay - Handbuilding - September 2025

Mix & Clay is a one-day workshop where you’ll explore the possibilities of combining different clay bodies—cream, black, red/brown, blue, and apricot—to create abstract patterns or detailed, colored clay designs without the use of glazes. By blending and kneading two or more claybodies, you’ll achieve unique pieces.

Using the slab building technique, you can form sculptural pieces or functional vessels for everyday use—such as plates, cups, bowls, candle holders, small vases, or completely free-form objects.

After the class

All pieces will be finished with a glossy transparent stoneware glaze and fired for you. Your ceramics will be ready for collection 3–4 weeks after the class, or can be shipped to you (+€7.50).

The Workshop fee includes all materials and bisque + glaze firing and takes place in a small group of 6 people in my studio at Danzig am Platz:
