Private Potters Wheel Class

A potters wheel class for a small group of 2 people (2x2h)- dates for the workshop can be arranged individually, during the week & at the weekend

To try out and learn how to work on the potters wheel or optionally- depending your pottery knowledge- deepen the throwing technique on the potters wheel.

At the first session (2h) we start with a small introduction to the material clay and go on with the preparation. After a demonstration on how to throw on the potters wheel the participating person is invited to model the clay on the wheel. The basic techniques, tips and tricks will be taught.

On the following day, the 2nd session (2h), we go on with the trimming of the ceramics we made the day before.

You can choose between different color options for your pieces- All pieces will we glazed and fired for you- (bisque firing 950 C and glaze firing 1240 C)

After the glaze firing the ceramics are ready for their new homes. It takes up to 3-4 weeks due to the drying and firing process. You can pick them up in the studio, shipping is also possible (+7,50€)
