7h Potters Wheel Class - November 2025

A hands-on 3-part workshop in a small group of max 4 people to learn or deepen your skills on the potter’s wheel.

Session 1 – Throwing
We begin with a short introduction to the material clay and its preparation. After a demonstration, you will throw your own pieces on the wheel, learning essential techniques, tips, and tricks. Bowl, Cups, Mugs, plates, Vases can be thrown, as well as free sculptural forms.

Session 2 – Trimming
We refine the shapes created on day one: trimming, attaching handles, and adding a personal maker’s mark. After drying for 7–10 days, your work will be bisque fired.

Session 3 – Glazing
We glaze all pieces, focusing on your individual color design. Therefore you can choose of a wide range of stoneware glazes, underglazes and ceramic chalks. Afterwards, your ceramics will be glaze fired at 1240 °C.

After the workshop

Once the glaze firing is complete, your ceramics are ready to take home. Pick Up is possible from the studio, or we can ship them to you (+€7.50).
