Volvox side Dishes are made of creme clay, thrown at the potter´s wheel and fired over 1200 degree.
While the inside is glazed with transparent glossy glaze, the outside is kept raw. Some are completely covered in transparent glossy glaze and all got a greenish finish in the middle of the piece.

The ceramics are handmade and show marks of the process and minor variation in size, form and color. All pieces are dishwasher safe and frost proof but may live longer washed by hands.
