leramics is a ceramic studio based in the east of Frankfurt am Main, Germany founded by Lena Eckerlein.
Back in 2018 Lena began to work with the material clay during her studies of art- media and cultural education. Started with a combination of handbuilding and hours of throwing at the potter´s wheel, functional ceramics like tableware and interior pieces became one of the main focus at leramics while playing with different clay bodies, the ambivalence between sharp and organic shapes and the variety of ceramic glazes.
To share the joy of working with the material clay she offers private and group classes for anyone regardless of previous skills or knowledge, taking place in the studio at Danzig am Platz.
